SHARATCHANDRA BELVALKAR: PRESIDENT

Civil Engineer and one of the first generation Promoter Developer in Pune, in construction business from about 1969. Retired from the business now, he looks after all the cultural activities of the Belvalkar Group. Founder as well as President of L.G.Deshpande Foundation an institution involved in non-formal education to children. Mr. Belvalkar is also a member of Sulabh Shikshan Mandal, a fifty year old society involved in children's education. Though a businessman by profession Mr. Belvalkar is a teacher at heart, interested in children in general and education in specific, a voracious reader and believes in being a student for life.
